Miss India-World Natasha Suri has completed her bachelors in business management. Thereafter, she got involved with her father in the garments export business though her passion was always getting on to the ramp.
The 22-year-old dusky beauty was born in Mumbai. Her ambition is to pursue a course in design and instigate her own clothing line. Her hobbies include listening to old Indian classics along with romantic and hip-hop numbers, cooking and reading.
She is also extremely fond of dancing (especially freestyle and contemporary and has learnt a bit of the waltz, samba and salsa).
A complete dreamer and firm believer in God, this 21-year-old has already won quite a few beauty pageants like Miss Country Club 2003 and Miss Enchante 2003, to name a few. Natasha has walked the ramp for designers Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Rana Gill, Shantanu and Nikhil, Narendra Kumar, Suneet Verma and Rina Dhaka and also done print campaigns for Elle, Femina, Man’s World and Seventeen.
Ask her about her personal motto and pat comes the reply: "Live like there's no tomorrow and Love like you will live forever."
For the Miss World event, to be held in Poland on September 30, designers Ritu Kumar, Hemant Trivedi, Deepika Gehani have designed special outfits for Natasha, who will represent the country at the Miss World 2006.
Standing tall at 5'10", the lady would be facing tough competition from 104 participating contestants (including her).
